Postseason college baseball is officially underway, and fans can now look forward to the NCAA Division 2 Championship after the selections were announced on Sunday.

Sixteen campuses across the nation will each host a double-elimination regional tournament, which will then feed into a best-of-three super regional. Eight winners will advance to the championship finals where they will face another double-elimination before the ultimate best-of-three series. 

Last year, Tampa defeated reigning champion Angelo State to claim national glory and now returns as a No. 1 seed and host site in the initial bracket. 

When Is The NCAA D2 Baseball Tournament?

The NCAA D2 Baseball Championship regionals begin on Thursday, May 15 and run through Sunday, May 18.

From there, super regionals will take place from Thursday, May 22 through Saturday, May 24. 

The tournament will cap off with the championship finals from Friday, May 30 through Saturday, June 7 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.

The NCAA D2 Baseball Tournament will be streamed on ESPN and ESPN+.
