Texas A&M and TCU Baseball are likely to move up in the various college baseball rankings as the preseason top-10 teams are a combined 14-0 with matching 7-0 records entering the week.

The two Texas programs are part of the third week of the College Baseball Showdown when the Kubota College Baseball Series Weekend 3 begins on March 1. The Aggies and the Horned Frogs are joined by a pair of Pac-12 teams in Arizona State and Southern California, one of college baseball's winningest programs.

The Aggies have yet to be tested in their 7-0 stretch while the TCU swept UCLA Baseball this weekend.

Here's what to know about the Kubota College Baseball Series Weekend 3.

Texas A&M Baseball Is A Dominant 7-0

The Aggies have outscored teams 80-8 so far but have yet to play a Power-5 team. A 2-0 win over Wagner is the closest game Texas A&M has played and the Aggies followed the game with a 21-2, 7-inning win over Wagner on Feb. 25.

Jim Schlossnagle, the former TCU coach, won his 900th game in that win.

The Aggies were ranked No. 8 and No. 11 in polls last week.

Texas A&M hosts Lamar on Feb. 27.

TCU Baseball Looking Like The Big 12 Baseball Favorite

The Horned Frogs were the highest-rated team in the Big 12 entering the season and were picked to win the league. And they are proving some of those polls right through seven games.

The Horned Frogs swept a strong mid-major team in Florida Gulf Coast to start the season and then swept UCLA after a win over Texas State. The Horned Frogs run-ruled the Bruins on Feb. 25, 13-3.

They play Washington State on Feb. 27 before heading to Globe Life Field.

TCU was ranked No. 5 and No. 6 in polls last week and were ranked No. 5 in the preseason Coaches Poll to start the season.

Despite being from separate conferences, the matchup not happening at Globe Life Field from March 1-3 is Texas A&M vs. TCU, which would pit Schlossnagle up against his former program.

Arizona State Baseball Has Win Over Top-25 Kansas State Baseball

The Sun Devils are 5-3 to start the season and have a win over a top-25 team already after beating Kansas State 9-6 on Feb. 20 in Phoenix. Arizona State opened the season against Santa Clara, winning the series 2-1 and also played a four-game series against Ohio State this weekend.

ASU split with the Buckeyes and one of the wins, on Feb. 25, was a 8-inning 10-8 win.

Arizona State's next game is March 1 against Texas A&M.

USC Baseball Off To Slow Start

One of college baseball's most storied programs, with 12 national championships (the most) and the sixth-most wins, USC is 2-5 entering the week. USC plays Michigan Baseball, which just went 0-3 at the Kubota College Baseball Series Weekend 2, on Feb. 27.

The Trojans started the season 0-5 with loses to BYU, Grand Canyon, Ohio State, Loyola Marymount and Portland. After losing the series opener to Portland, USC won the next two.

USC was picked to finish fifth in the Pac-12, their final season in the league, while Arizona was one spot behind them.
