College Baseball Opening Day is Feb. 16 and one of the few things the collective sport can agree on is Wake Forest Baseball is the best team in the country. 

Loaded with possibly the best best pitching staff in America along with one of its best hitters and top newcomers, the Demon Deacons are the No.1 team on the Coaches Poll, the D1 Baseball poll and Baseball America rankings. 

With Josh Hartle, Chase Burns and Michael Massey leading the pitching staff and Nick Kurtz and Seaver King in the lineup, the national semifinalist from 2023 are seeking their first title since 1955.

After Wake? Well, then arguments starts. LSU Baseball, Arkansas Baseball and Florida Baseball are fighting for the No.2 spot. Arkansas is the coaches' favorite to win the  SEC, but the defending champs LSU are still garnering respect in all rankings.
