The college baseball season starts with one of the sport's premier events during the first weeks of the season, as some of the best teams head to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, for the 2024 Shriners Children's College Showdown. 

This year's event is triple the action, with three weekends of baseball and 14 teams hailing from the SEC, Big Ten, Big 12 and Pac 12.

Last year's event featured just Big 12 teams facing SEC teams, but this year, Michigan, Oregon, Nebraska, USC and Arizona State all will head to Arlington.

The first weekend of competition at the Shriners Children's College Showdown is Feb. 16-18. The second weekend is Feb. 23- 25. The final weekend is March 1-3.
