Grigor Cholakyan Commits To Stanford
Grigor Cholakyan, the #17 ranked recruit in the class of 2024, has committed to Stanford.
Grigor Cholakyan currently sits at #17 on the 2024 Big Board, and now he's made his college decision. The St. John Bosco junior will be staying in California to join Rob Koll and company at Stanford. Cholakyan announced his commitment on Instagram.
Cholakyan has raised his stock in the last several months. He's coming off a 4th place finish at Super 32 at 138 lbs. Before that, he finished 3rd in Fargo and perhaps most impressively, 5th at the U20 division of the US Open in a bracket that included a number of division 1 wrestlers.

Cholakyan is the second top-20 commit for the Cardinal in the class of 2024. He joins fellow Californian Aden Valencia who's ranked 14th in the class. Stanford's 2023 class currently has big boarders #33 Lorenzo Norman, #36 Zach Hanson, and #87 Jacob Joyce. Stanford's 2023 recruiting class is currently ranked 17th in the nation, and the class of 2024 is shaping up to be as good or better.
