The wait is finally over. The 2026 postseason field has been announced for the NCAA D2 baseball teams. Here is all of the information for the tournament.

The NCAA D2 baseball season is moving in to it's final weeks and months. 

The postseason field for the regional tournaments were announced on Sunday, May 10, and this is the best time of the year for college baseball fans. 

Baseball is at an all time high and the competition only gets tougher from here on out. With 56 teams in the final field, the 21-automatic qualifiers and the 35-at large bid selections are truly the best teams in the country. 

Eight regional tournaments will start on May 14 and conclude on May 17, from there the field will be narrowed down to 16 teams for the Super Regional round. 

After Super Regionals conclude on May 23, the top eight teams in the country will travel to Cary, NC for a chance to win a national title.

The University of Tampa has the most NCAA D2 baseball titles. The Spartans will look to three-peat after claiming the titles in 2024 and 2025.
