The UNCW Seahawks pulled of the upset last night against #9 Coastal Carolina. They were down 0-1 heading into the bottom of the 9th when Mason Hughes tied it, followed by a single from Will Tyrell that sealed the victory for UNCW.

UNCW moves to 22-18 on the season, with a 10-8 conference record. They are currently in 2nd place in the CAA South standings with 14 games remaining until the conference tournament. Last season, UNCW made it to the CAA champion ship game before falling to Northeastern. There next game is a three game series at against Elon on the road.
