Mac Moyer went 4-for-4 with two doubles, while Jett Buck and Joshua Overbeek each had two hits and a double. Cole Kitchens drove in two runs, and Will Jesske added a two-run homer as Nebraska trimmed a nine-run deficit to three before Stanford pulled away late.

On the mound, Pryce Bender allowed one run over three innings in relief.

Nebraska opens the weekend against No. 15 Louisville before facing Kansas State and Florida State in its third straight appearance at the premier early-season event.
