Louisville Baseball heads to Arlington, Texas, this weekend looking to carry offensive momentum into the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field.

The Cardinals evened their record at 2-2 with a 23-11 victory over Xavier on Tuesday at Jim Patterson Stadium. Louisville pounded out 23 hits, including nine for extra bases, and finished with 36 baserunners.

Eight different players recorded multiple hits, led by Alex Alicea and Tague Davis with four apiece. Lucas Moore, Bayram Hot and Kyle Campbell added three hits each.

All nine starters scored at least one run, and eight drove in multiple runs as the Cardinals scored seven runs in the second inning and added another seven-run frame in the fifth. Moore and Davis each homered, with Davis and Jax Hisle hitting back-to-back home runs.

On the mound, Ty Starke earned the win in relief, and Colton Hartman recorded the final nine outs for his first career save.

Louisville also received a boost from senior left-hander Wyatt Danilowicz, who was named ACC Pitcher of the Week. In his first collegiate start against Michigan State, Danilowicz struck out a career-high nine over six shutout innings, allowing just three baserunners.

The Cardinals open play in Arlington against Nebraska before facing Michigan and No. 5 Auburn over the weekend as they embark on their first road trip of the 2026 season.
