Auburn Baseball Prospects At College Baseball Series
Here are the players to watch.
Chris Rembert, 2B, Auburn Baseball
Chris Rembert, a 6-foot, 202-pound second baseman at Auburn, delivered one of the program’s top freshman seasons in recent years. He hit .344/.467/.555 with 10 home runs and 14 doubles, posting a 14.2% walk rate and 13.8% strikeout rate.
His .376 average in SEC play ranked third in the conference. Rembert later earned Team USA’s starting second base job and leadoff spot, showcasing his strength and pull-side power.
Cade Belyeu, OF, Auburn Baseball
Cade Belyeu, a 6-foot-3, 210-pound outfielder at Auburn, brings an imposing frame and notable raw power. Over two seasons, he has hit .281/.440/.525 while spending time at all three outfield spots, primarily in center field in 2025.
Belyeu trimmed his strikeout rate from 26.2% as a freshman to 18.8% as a sophomore, though his slugging dipped with just 10 extra-base hits in 170 plate appearances last season
Chris Guevara, 3B, Auburn Baseball
Eric Guevara, a Panama-born infielder, emerged as a key bat for Auburn in 2025 after a modest freshman season. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound right-hander hit .331/.388/.556 with five home runs and 11 doubles.
Guevara shows strong bat-to-ball skills and a feel for the barrel, particularly against fastballs, though he walked just 7.8% of the time. Primarily a third baseman, he could also fit at second base at the next level.
Brandon McCraine, SS/OF, Auburn Baseball
Brandon McCraine, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound draft-eligible redshirt freshman, did not appear in a game for Auburn in 2025 but has generated interest from scouts. An athletic defender capable of playing shortstop and multiple positions, he offers versatility across the field.
McCraine impressed in the Perfect Game Collegiate League, hitting .304/.455/.446 with more walks than strikeouts and 15 stolen bases.
Griffin Graves, LHP, Auburn Baseball
Griffin Graves, a 5-foot-10, 175-pound left-hander, provides swing-and-miss stuff out of Auburn’s bullpen. Over two seasons, he has posted a 5.65 ERA with a 27.4% strikeout rate. Graves leans heavily on a 93-97 mph fastball with strong riding life, throwing it roughly 70% of the time in 2025.
He complements it with a low-80s slider, while also mixing in a changeup and curveball.
