The 2026 college baseball season is finally here! With the College Baseball Series getting some of the top action over opening weekend, the Shriner's Children's College Showdown is stacked.

With six team heading to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, the Texas Tech Red Raiders are looking to make a statement in the opening weekend of play. 

The Red Raiders will see Big 12 and SEC opponents during the course of the three days of play and will open their 2026 season against Oklahoma on Feb. 13. 

Texas Tech is one of three Big 12 teams in the College Baseball Showdown in weekend one as TCU and Oklahoma State round out the Big 12 competition.
