The Oklahoma Baseball team open its 2026 Division I college baseball season on the road at the Shriners Children's College Baseball Showdown, which is the opening week of the College Baseball Series in Arlington, Texas on Feb.13 to Feb. 15.

The College Baseball Series will be held at Globe Life Field, home of the 2023 World Series champion Texas Rangers.

OU Baseball will play Weekend 1 of the College Baseball Series during the Shriners Children's College Showdown against Texas Tech, TCU, and their in-state rivals Oklahoma State. 

In 2022, the Sooners made an appearance to the Big 12 tournament Championship defeating the Texas Longhorns, and advancing to the College World Series by defeating Virginia Tech in the Blacksburg Virginia Tech. 

With a strong roster entering 2026, Oklahoma is a team to watch throughout the College Baseball Series.
