How To Watch TCU Baseball At The 2026 College Baseball Series
TCU’s 2026 baseball season will begin at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Here are all the details. Watch the College Baseball Series on FloCollege.

The Texas Christian University baseball team will kick off its 2026 campaign in a major way as one of 18 teams taking part in the latest edition of the College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, the home of the World Series-champion Texas Rangers.
However, while the venue is part of Arlington’s Entertainment District and just blocks from Six Flags Over Texas, the last thing the Horned Frogs should want is to continue the roller coaster ride they’ve been on the last few seasons.
Will the new year be a smooth ride? FloBaseball and FloCollege subscribers will get a sneak peek starting Feb. 13, as the first three games of TCU’s season will be broadcast live on FloCollege and the FloSports app.
The College Baseball Series will include the Shriners Children’s College Baseball Showdown (Feb. 13-15), Amegy Bank College Baseball Series – Weekend 2 (Feb. 20-22) and Amegy Bank College Baseball Series Weekend 3 (Feb. 27-March 1), and FloCollege will have wire-to-wire coverage.

TCU made the Men’s College World Series in 2023 but fell just shy of getting to play for the title. The Horned Frogs lost to the Florida Gators with a trip to the final on the line, while Florida went on to lose to LSU in the best-of-three championship showdown, 2-1.
It was TCU’s sixth trip to the College World Series (2010, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2023), where the team is 13-12 all-time.
At the end of April that season, TCU was 23-20 and went on an insane run to make the CWS and finish the campaign at 44-24. The 68 games tied a program record for games played in a single TCU season.
The team’s redemption tour in 2024 was more of a valley in program history than another peak, and the season ended well short of a return to the iconic Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.
In fact, the Horned Frogs missed the 2024 Division I Baseball Championship entirely, going 33-21 overall and 14-16 in the Big 12. They finished in the bottom half of the conference standings and saw their season end with a loss to Kansas in the Big 12 Championship.
Things for TCU baseball took another upward turn in 2025 in a new-look Big 12 and updated tournament format.
Last season, TCU battled Big 12 newcomer Arizona into extra innings in the championship game of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship, but ultimately fell 2-1 in 10 innings.
Despite the runner-up finish at the conference tournament, the Horned Frogs had done enough to earn a return trip to the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship after a one-year absence as one of a record-tying eight Big 12 teams that earned bids.
The opportunity marked their 20th appearance in the national tournament, with the first coming in 1956, the second happening in 1994 and the next 17 coming from 2004-2023.
TCU headed west to Corvallis, Oregon, for regional play but lost consecutive games in the double-elimination format. TCU fell to USC in its opening game, 13-1, and then was bounced from the tournament by host Oregon State, 7-2.
When the Horned Frogs make the trip to Arlington this month, they’ll have some positive vibes and history on their side.
This will be the team’s fourth appearance at the College Baseball Series and the third time its season will begin at Globe Life Field.
What happened the last two times?
In 2021, despite going 1-2 at the event, TCU finished the season with a 41-19 record, won the Big 12’s regular-season title, claimed the trophy at the Big 12 Championship and advanced to the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship. That sounds like a successful campaign.
In 2023, the Horned Frogs opened with two wins en route to a 2-1 run in the event and then added a midweek victory over UT Arlington to continue the hot start.
As noted above, things did slow down through the end of April that year, but a late push got TCU within an inning of forcing a second semifinal clash with Florida at the Men’s College World Series.
The Horned Frogs needed to defeat Florida twice to earn the chance to play for a national championship but lost in their first clash, 3-2. The contest that was tied 2-2 heading into the top of the ninth inning.
What’s the point here? Well, it seems like pretty good things happen for TCU when the season begins with the short drive from Fort Worth to Arlington.
Will then trend continue in 2026?
